Tracey Singleton

Raised on Prince Edward Island by successful entrepreneurs, Tracey is no stranger to hard work. Growing up, her dad owned a gas station and her mom a daycare. Plus, her grandfather owned the Queen Street Meat Market that is when it was actually located on Queen Street.

Tracey founded VMG and provides leadership and direction to all projects. Her vision is to create a team of strong project leaders that are owners, managing projects throughout Atlantic Canada.

With her husband Kenny, Tracey also co-owns the franchise for Prince Edward Island and PEI Dream Cottages Inc. which specializes in property management and vacation rentals. Together, they have been in business for over 10 years.

She is mom to amazing triplets. Two boys – MacKenzie and Mat and her little girl Lexie. As a family you’ll often see them walking or running on the Confederation Trail, cycling, hanging at their camp in the Miramichi or relaxing at their cottage in Cavendish Beach.

Tracey is a graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management (BTHM), with over 20 years experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Her greatest strength is her extraordinary ability to multitask. She can easily take any project from a “big idea” to “reality”. Tracey is described by clients as having high integrity, results oriented, personable and creative!

Kelly Murphy
Director of Operations

Kelly is a practiced and passionate event professional with extensive experience in the Event Management industry. She has spent over 6 years with Versatile Management Group (VMG) specializing in operations, production and logistics. She is the event manager for a diverse portfolio, including the PEI International Shellfish Festival, Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest, The Festival of Wines and the PEI Spirits Festival.

Prior to joining VMG, Kelly held senior roles in the management teams for the Canadian Curling Association (CCA) at the National and International levels. Kelly was also a key member of the CCA management team for the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which took place in Charlottetown.

Day-to-day, Kelly is constantly multi-tasking, always with an eye towards efficiency. She is a tenacious negotiator on behalf of her clients and events. Kelly takes great pride in her work, and is always expanding her repertoire of events. She brings detailed knowledge into the areas of budget creation and analysis. Her top priorities are achievement of her clients’ goals and the financial success that comes with them. Her expertise, outstanding organizational abilities and industry contacts all form a valuable resource to clients and VMG.

Kelly is committed to excellence. The VMG Team relies on Kelly as their go-to person for her direct approach and all things “operational”. Through it all, she always remembers the people along with the process.

Kelly is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University. She resides just outside of Charlottetown with her husband, Ian. She is fluent in both French and English.

Jennifer Paynter
Director of Marketing and Sponsorship

Jennifer is the Director of Marketing and Sponsorship managing the marketing activities for a very diversified major event portfolio: PEI International Shellfish Festival, PEI Fall Flavours Festival, Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest, PEI Festival of Wines, Great Island Grilled Cheese and the PEI Spirits Festival. She also manages the social media strategy for Tourism Cavendish Beach, Cavendish Bosom Buddies and Maritime Fun Group. Annually, Jennifer is responsible for over $250,000 in sponsorship revenue and works diligently to build sponsor relations and to identify unique opportunities for activation. She keeps current with marketing and social media trends and is specialized in creating customized marketing and sponsorship plans for events based on budgets and target markets.

Jennifer graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor in Commerce majoring in marketing with a human resource certification. She also achieved the Emerit Tourism Training certification in Sales Management.

Jennifer joined VMG in 2012. Her creative approach in event marketing and social media management brings a unique flare to all VMG projects.

Jenny Wooldridge
Fall Flavours Event Coordinator / Event Coordinator

Jenny joined the VMG team in 2016 after graduating from the Marketing and Advertising Program at Holland College. Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, she’s a true islander at heart and takes pride in working here.

Jenny always knew she wanted to enter the event management field and has found her true calling. In 2015, she started working in event management with the Cavendish Beach Music Festival as Marketing Assistant and quickly advanced to Ticketing Manager. Jenny thrives on a fast paced environment atmosphere and enjoys the sense of accomplishment she gets from working on successful projects and events. At VMG, Jenny is project coordinator for the Arts and Heritage Trail and the PEI Fall Flavours Festival. She also manages the indoor venue for the Jack Frost Children’s WinterFest and manages multiple social media accounts for various events and clients.

Jenny has quickly emerged as a professional with a commitment to client satisfation and results.
