The Tyne Valley Firemen‘s Club is really happy with the work done by VMG through the BAA program. Kelly helped us put together our operations plan and recommended applying for new workplace assistance adaption fund to help cover costs to be able reopen our doors to guests in a safe-way. She was truly a pleasure to work with. VMG also helped tailor our communications to our guests on how to appropriately handle the upcoming changes in these uncertain times. On behalf of myself, and the Executive Board Members, we would like to thank Kelly and VMG for their knowledge and professionalism that helped us complete our operations plan in a timely manner.”

COVID-19 Business Adaptation Advice for the Tourism Industry
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a crisis unlike anything we have ever experienced before. This has left the Island’s tourism industry vulnerable and facing uncertainty. While no one knows exactly when things will return to normal, now is the time to prepare for what comes next. This will require action-oriented strategies that can be implemented to address current business realities and to prepare for the time when stay at home orders and travel restrictions are lifted.
With over 20 years of experience in event management, food tourism, marketing, communications, social media, sponsorship development, project management and more, Versatile Management Group (VMG) has the in-house expertise to provide tourism operators with valuable advice on strategic business, communications, and marketing adaptations.
There are three phases to a crisis – React, Rethink, and Recover. The actions that are taken during each phase can drastically affect a businesses’ recovery and reputation. Everything we do today will be remembered in the future.
At VMG, we will strategically guide tourism operators through these three key phases to help them recover and contribute to our vibrant tourism community. We are here to help.
In early April, Innovation PEI launched COVID-19 Business Adaptation Advice Program (BAA Program). This funding program provides a non-repayable contribution of up to $2,500 to Prince Edward Island businesses, entrepreneurs, not-for-profits, and non-governmental organizations to access professional advice and support to adapt or recover from the impacts of COVID-19. Through this program, VMG will provide advice and action-oriented strategies that will assist tourism operators in responding to the impacts of COVID-19.
VMG has created a COVID-19 Adaptation Advice package specifically tailored to meet tourism operators’ needs. The package of services includes:
- Assistance in applying for the BAA Program and identifying other sources of grants or funding
